Here's a link to the town I live in. Or
more correctly, the town in which I live. Located at the
northern end of the beautiful Willamette Valley approximately midway
between Portland and Salem, Aurora was the first
National
Historic District in Oregon
and offers an
"unrivaled antique shopping experience that earns its designation
as the state's antiques capital." My wife and I
established Time After Time Antiques & Gifts in 1983 and it is
now the oldest antique store in a town full of them. Here's
the link.
Here's a link to our store, TIME AFTER TIME.
Our business was established in 1983. In 1992, we moved into
the old Fry House in the heart of the antique district in historic
Aurora. The Fry House was built in 1874 and once housed the
village's blacksmith and his family.
In 1986, I started framing pictures for our
antiques store. That led to a whole new business framing for
other people and selling art. I established Wallflowers
Gallery & Framing in 1990 in the nearby town of Canby, Oregon.
In 2001, I sold that business to Pam Casciato, who worked for me at
the time. She has done a fantastic job bringing original art
to the area as well as continuing the tradition of fine custom
framing. Here is a link to her website (with a slight name
change to the business).
