This is kind of a stretch as far as FP history, but I'll post it anyway. I will direct this brief inquiry toward Tim Stricherz.

Now that you've had a couple of days to mull it over, Tim, tell us what it's like to have turned 60 on the 9th. Tim was the only 9th grader I knew at Keithley who had his driver's license! Keyes wouldn't let him drive to school, though. There was fear that Tim would be a bad influence or something. Tim could be a pretty wild and crazy guy at times.

Seriously Tim, I hope you had a happy birthday.

You've been a good friend and a veritable fount of sports statistics and other useless trivia. You were always a numbers kind of guy. I remember when Lakes first opened and we went to a basketball game in their gym. I commented that it looked about as big as FP's gym. You quickly and rather emphatically corrected me and pointed out that they only had 16 rows of bleachers! I inferred that we apparently had 17 rows and left it at that. Now, I want to know how many people, upon entering a new gym for the first time, would bother to count the rows of bleachers!!

Tim sat behind me in Mr Kempf's 6th grade class at James Sales, and he would always get 100 percent on his daily math assignments. It drove me nuts because in the inevitable paper exchange he always corrected my work and would never give me a break! I hated to label my answers in math. What I remember most though was the time that he wouldn't lend me two cents for something or other. I asked him why and he said, "You'll never pay me back!" He was probably right. Ask Don Solberg and Bob Peck.

Thanks Ray,
I still fill young and still can drive. But I had better birthdays. An uninsured lady rear ended me on the big day. ($3700, sorry PEMCO). Nobody hurt. By the way Ray, you still owe me four cents.
